According to The Wall Street Journal, Large-scale production of the iPhone 12 is reported to be delayed by another month due to the COVID-19 effect.
Usually, Apple will launch their new iPhone in September and ship the devices by the end of the month. While this delay may not be expected due to this reported delay, they are pointing out that the iPhone 12 is expected to be scarce by the end of the year.

Earlier, the iPhone X was launched in September 2017, but due to manufacturing problems, they were unable to release the phones until November.
